Onkyo TX-SR707 7.2-Channel A/V Surround Home Theater Receiver 1st Class – In Every Way – JCTucson – Oro Valley, AZ USA
It worked right out of the box, beautiful picture and great sound. I was replacing an older Marantz that was w/o HDMI video, and this sounds every bit as good. Hookup was a breeze, and now I’ll install 3 additional pairs of speakers (2 front & 1 side) to go from 5.1 and fully utilize the 7.2 capabilities.

One important note: after mucking around in setup, I could not get my Sony BD DVD to display. I called customer support, and I spoke immediately with an Onkyo tech support person who walked me through my error. Everything works great, and it’s a breeze to switch between all of my componets that are plugged into the receiver.

If there’s a complaint, the unit runs ‘warm,’ but Onkyo says this is normal.

It’s would have been easy to have spent more, but this one does it all. I’m very happy.
Excellent Receiver – R. Rogers –
This is hands down the best receiver I have ever purchased, it has ample HDMI ports and various other connection ports. I hook the receiver to my Polk speakers RM85 and two front towers TSi 400 and old my God it was amazing. Just purchased a PS3 and will connect it to my receiver and use HDMI from receiver to TV an I can’t wait to see what the picture looks like. Amazon had the best price on this receiver and I am extremely happy at this point in time and will recommend this item to anyone.

Ich habe dieses Modell als “Nachfolger” eines baugleichen, aber teureren Grundig-Modells gekauft, das nach ca. 1,5 Jahren nach einem Stromausfall pl?tzlich nicht mehr auf die Fernbedienung reagierte (nein, es waren nicht die Batterien) – und ohne Fernbedienung ist das Ger?t nicht steuerbar.

Aus Platzgr?nden brauchte ich unbedingt wieder einen so kleinen Receiver. Au?erdem war ich bis zum Defekt auch mit dem Vorg?nger sehr zufrieden.

Der TechnoTrend funktioniert bisher problemlos (mit Kabel Deutschland). Ich bin sehr zufrieden und hoffe, dass dieses Modell diesmal l?nger h?lt. Die Abwertung um einen Stern gibt es, weil man das Ger?t ohne Fernbedienung gar nicht bedienen kann.
