FitFlop Women’s Inuk Boot,Chestnut,9 M US

FitFlop Women’s Inuk Boot,Chestnut,9 M US fitflops – Susan U. Sacks –
have all their shoes and just love them. Actually I wear them exclusively and they have made my one “problem foot” useable again. I only wear a “real” shoe for going out for dinner and other social events that don’t require lots of walking. But before, without having worn the fitflops, I wouldn’t have been able to do that at all
I lived in my FitFlop sandals for the last three summers, but was always sad to put them away for the winter. So, when these boots were announced, I SO looked forward to owning a pair. They live up to my FitFlop expectations: I spent 20 hours in them on Black Friday (I work two retail jobs) and my feet were perfectly comfortable, which is more than I can say for my other coworkers who worked a fraction of that time on that day.
Initially, the back of my right ankle rubbed against a seam in the boot, and I almost got a blister there, but that was literally after that one long black Friday weekend. I’ve been wearing them everyday since, and I’ve not had that happen again.
A bonus is that I don’t need to wear socks with them, so that I don’t have to hunt for socks to keep my feet warm in other shoes: they’re already so warm! Plus, I think if you do wear socks with them, that will probably encourage foot odor.
I love my fitflop sandals, and I’m so happy that these boots live up to the expectations of comfort and durability.
(ps, I don’t believe that these shoes will make anyone fitter. I go to the gym for fitness. But, these shoes are SO comfortable, that they will definitely encourage more activity in the wearer.) FitFlop: Inuk Don’t let winter stop your workout, the Inuk Boots from FitFlops have all the style of a top fashion shearling boot, plus the workout of your favorite summertime exercise flip flops. The suede upper is also water- and stain-resistant to keep you moving through the worst weather. FitFlop Women’s Inuk Boot,Chestnut,9 M US

FitFlop Women’s Mukluk Boot,Chestnut,11 M US

FitFlop Women’s Mukluk Boot,Chestnut,11 M US comfy! – rovingt – sierra madre, ca United States
These boots are fantastic. Comfortable, but not too hot, which is perfect for Southern California winters. No fuzzy stuff on the bottom, but I use my Ugg furry inserts when I need them to be warmer.

I wear a size 9 in boots normally. Got these in 8 and they are still a little big.

I’m very happy with this purchase.
Why did I wait till March to finally buy these shearling short boots? When the color I wanted and my size was sold out everywhere? Well, almost everywhere. I felt like “Queen For A Day” when I finally found them. Tan, size 7 and final sale. Yippee!

I love FitFlop flip flops. They are so very comfortable and easy to wear. A thinking woman’s flip flop. But let’s face it. They are flip flops and are at the far end of casual foot wear. I can wear them around the house and around the neighborhood while I do errands. I can wear them to the beach or to the gym. I can’t wear them outside or even inside during the colder months. Fitflops are comfortable but limited.

When the Mukluk shearling style was introduced in the Fall I thought:
1) Wow! They are really expensive for FitFlops
2) They look like Uggs. I have Uggs. I am so very tired of Uggs.
3) Whats next? FitFlops that look like Crocs?

I just didn’t “get” it.

But as the winter progressed I started to want something warm to kick around in. Mostly indoors. I started poking around, looking at bedroom slippers. Everything was, well, too bedroom-y. The majority of slippers were mules, backless. In the winter I do not want a backless slipper. Even if the slipper is shearling. I want something with a back. My feet get cold and who wants to have to wear socks with mules? There are limits. As for style, nothing appealed to me. What I found seemed to be pink and fluffy for the tweener or sturdy corduroy and velcro for the nursing home set. Mostly, I didn’t want to be humiliated if a neighbor, or mailman, or cable guy saw me wearing them.

Slowly, eventualy, I realized what I wanted was winter FitFlops. I could wear them inside as “house shoes” and outside as well. Of course, that’s when I discovered that they were no longer available! “Oh, we’ve been sold out for months” sniffed the salesman at Harry’s, my local wonderful shoe store. “They went fast”. Drat!

Since I finally found my pair I have been totally, utterly pleased. The instructions says to wear them barefoot but I do wear socks when I wear them outside when its cold. They are extremely well made, super comfortable, supportive, cushioned. They look good with Jeans.

I forget that I am wearing them and I think that’s the very best thing you can say about a shoe.

FitFlop: Mukluk FitFlop’s Mukluk Boots give you the warmth and style of a shearling-inspired look along with the unique wobbleboard workout that the company’s famous for! The water- and stain-resistant suede helps gets you from season-to-season in style, too! FitFlop Women’s Mukluk Boot,Chestnut,11 M US

FitFlop Women’s Snugger Boot,Bronze,9 M US

FitFlop Women’s Snugger Boot,Bronze,9 M US Great Fit Flops – Pat – Indianapolis, IN
These are great boots. Wonderful fit, easy on and off and nice and warm. They are also true to size and a little wider for the easy on and off and warm socks.
I bought the black FitFlop Snugger boots, and I think they’re the coolest-looking winter boots I’ve had in a long time. They remind me of my moonboots I had back in elementary school. They’re super-lightweight, warm, and waterproof enough for my use. I’m not out tromping through inches of snow or using them to sled-ride for hours. Mainly, I’m using them for wearing around on my daily errands in the wintertime, when I wouldn’t want to wear regular boots or shoes. My feet haven’t been even a little cold or wet in them yet, and I haven’t found them slippery in less-than-ideal conditions. So far, so good!

The fit is a little odd. I’m not talking so much about the footbed, but the boot as a whole. I’m fairly petite, but I have big calves (14.5″) for my size and wide feet. The footbed of these boots accommodates my feet very comfortably, even to the point of being a little bit sloppy-fitting, if I wear thin socks. But the shaft of the boot, especially toward the top, fits my calves like they’re shrink-wrapped. Not uncomfortable, thanks to the elastic on the back, but very snug, with no way to give them a little more give. There’s a Velcro-closed gusset for ease getting the boots on and off, but that’s not to be misconstrued as any kind of adjustability. So the snug fit at the top, combined with LOTS of room at the ankles (which don’t even touch the inside of the boots at all!) and the very roomy fit on my feet themselves made for a need to get used to the way the Snugger Boots feel. Once I got past those little issues, I was delighted at how comfortable the Snugger Boots are. I can wear them for an entire day and not feel like my feet have been reduced to two bloody stumps after a day on my feet. The “walking in sand” feeling of the regular FitFlops isn’t so pronounced with the boots, but maybe because they’re so snug on my calves, I know the boots aren’t going anywhere, and I do have to concentrate on keeping the regular FitFlops on my feet. But the way I see it, the Snuggers are a good solid pair of winter boots for casual wear, and they make walking around more fun, and if it’s more fun, I’ll walk around more. So at least there’s that cardiovascular benefit. And, they look cool. FitFlop: Snugger You’ll stay in great shape in this FitFlop boot! Developed by biomechanists at London’s Southbank University, the FitFlop has been scientifically proven in independent studies to boost overall leg and calf muscle activity as you walk. This comfy, puffy boot is fashion right in colorful nylon with patent trim. The faux fur lining keeps you warm, and microfiber sockliner helps keep your feet dry and healthy.
